CardBoard.Live December 2019 update: MC7 & Year-in-Review

Happy holidays! The end of 2019 is approaching and we at CardBoard.Live would like to wish you a great time with loved ones.
Below, we will summarize the recent #MythicChampionshipVII and conduct a small year-in-review.
#MythicChampionshipVII: Dec 6-8
We witnessed quite an event this past weekend. Congratulations to Piotr “Kanister” Glogowski, your new Mythic Champion! And congrats to all the players who worked tirelessly to prepare for the biggest stage of Magic competition.
This MC had it all. Exciting new Arena Standard format. Storylines on who would qualify for next year’s MPL and the imminent World Championships. New Challengers rising to the task, plus the return of some savvy veterans. All in all, a great way to close 2019.
And all of it powered by CardBoard.Live in its most immersive experience yet: the hover-over feature for both players.
We took the month-over-month learnings from our CBL for Arena Beta and took things to the next level. We delivered a new experience, at scale, that has never been executed in any live digital card game tournament: multi-player hover-over.

The year-in-review
It’s been a wonderful year, and CardBoard.Live has enjoyed several Magical milestones:
- We powered all seven Magic Mythic Championship events.
- We powered all ChannelFireball Grand Prix events with video coverage.
- We powered all of the Star City Games SCG Tour events, as well as their popular VS Live! series.
- We collaborated with global tournament organizers such as Red Bull and Cardmarket.
- We have enjoyed significant adoption of our CardBoard.Live for Arena offering with the biggest Arena streamers.
